My Better Half

Living on the edge are you and me
to lead our life as we want to be.
It has been a decade of love and hate
bonded are we, for it was our fate.

Together we stood in sunshine and rain
no matter the differences, we stand to gain.
You have held my hand on the verge of my fall,
like an angel waiting to answer my call.

No matter the differences we were one,
nothing can shake me for the little fun.
Time has taught us different flavours of life
how should I thank you for being my wife.
